Worldwide — Pentecost Sunday — Pray that the church may rediscover the person and work of the Holy Spirit as we pursue renewal and revival. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be poured out upon children and youth, and that there would be a ten-fold increase in the number of children and youth participating in all of our congregations. and especially today the congregation of Callingwood Road Presbyterian Church, Edmonton, Alberta

They keep having colds and coughs.**April 18, 2024: The judge granted the father 4 extra days of visitation per month. T is worried that her son will be influenced by his father. Pray for good visits. April 10, 2024: Please pray for new accommodations for T and her young son A. Their rental apartment is moldy and affecting their health.

Update May 15, 2024: Bill is healing well and the numbness in his tongue is easing. He isn't sure if he will need radiation. He appreciates the prayers.**March 4, 2024: Please pray for Bill who has been diagnosed with cancer of the larynx. The oncologist said it was caught early enough and with a course of radiation he should recover.

May 13, 2024: Prayer request for my friend's friend Laurel. A scan has showed a tumor on her right ovary and fluid on her right lung. She gets the fluid removed in Surrey Hospital on Thursday. She is meeting with her GP who is a surgeon to have a biopsy of the tumor. Laurel had the right kidney removed many years back due to cancer. He asks that "perhaps you can forward this situation to your prayer warriors as well. You have a real ministry there." Let's all pray for Laurel and my friend Robert.

Update May 13, 2024: My sister M and I are so grateful for your prayers. She had good news on two fronts. There is no fracture in her neck from her fall, and the four hour Mohs surgery removed all the cancer. It will take up to a year of rehab to recover from the concussion. Thank you so much for your prayers.

may 7, 2024: My son-in-law "N" is showing signs of his cancer returning. He is to have tests to find out. After almost 3 years of suffering and only about 3/4 of a year in remission this is an awful thing. My daughter has asked for prayers on his behalf. The last time I "J" had my Cancer markers done it showed them going back up again. On Wednesday, I see the oncologist to find out what action she will want to take next. Please pray for both of us during this time of great pain and stress. Amen.

May 7, 2024: I would ask your prayers for Rick. He's in VGH recovering from taking bad heroin he bought on the street. He's had problems with addiction and we are to stand for him to God to bring him relief from that substance. He does not feel anything from his midsection down. We ask God's angels to stand at his bed and that the medical staff at VGH may find a way to bring him to complete recovery. He was a member of our church many years ago and my roommate. God we thank you for Rick and pray that he may recognize the possibility of a miracle for himself. Michel

April 30, 2024: Please continue in prayer for a young couple who have been searching for months for new housing as their rental has been sold. Their credit has been a hindrance, and their finances are short. They tell me they do not know where they will be tomorrow, and that the local agency who helps in such situations has not been responding to them. May they sense God's love and may they realize God's protection and His provision. As well, should any changes in their habits or outlook be required, may they rely on the Holy Spirit to take away any fear and provide clear guidance.

Please pray for the Alpha Ministry at Vancouver Chinese PC, being held from April 6 to June 29, in 3 languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese. Thanks to many volunteers including the kitchen crew, the hospitality crew, the prayer warriors and group leaders, we welcome seekers from different cultures and all walks of life. May the Holy Spirit open their heart to believe in Jesus Christ.
