A few years ago when I was in Sweden, I was fascinated by the beautifully decorated poles that were the centre of each village square. Brightly-coloured ribbons streamed down from the crossbars which were holding up a wreath of spring … Read more

Before my husband retired, he had occasion to attend several meetings at the company's head office in Europe. After the children were grown, I often travelled with him, taking a few days to do some sightseeing either before or after … Read more

Wednesday, April 20, 2005 Elaine Ingalls Hogg

"Aw! Do I have to? I'm playing a game right now." Unfortunately, when I was a child, all too often this was my response to my parents' call reminding me that it was time for family devotions. These gathering times … Read more

The Message Of The Ancient Cross

Saturday, March 26, 2005 Elaine Ingalls Hogg

Over the years, I've travelled many miles to see some of the great landmarks of history. I've climbed monuments and gone in elevators that whisked me up to the top of man-made towers where I stood fascinated by the view. … Read more

Words From A Friend Are A Treasure

Wednesday, February 23, 2005 Elaine Ingalls Hogg

It's been proven that recycling can go a long way towards saving the environment. What may not be as well known is that recycling can also provide a person with a treasure, of sorts. For fourteen of the last twenty-seven … Read more

Worldwide Ministry

Pray
Friday, October 2, 2026 – In Peru — Praise God for Pastor Elvis and Rosita who are doing a great job. Pray they will have the lay support they need to grow the church while we are on Home Assignment next year. Pray for the Lord to raise up good, consistent Sunday School teachers and leaders, mature in the faith and capable of loving the people. Pray also for the Lord's leading as we try to prepare the church for our absence.
