Do No HarmPodcast

Sunday, February 14, 2021 John Stuart

For many months, I have been strongly advocating the wearing of masks in public places in order to diminish the impact of the present pandemic. By wearing a mask, I am, like millions of others, trying to keep the number of contagions down … Read more

The Laundry Room DoorPodcast

Saturday, February 13, 2021 Lynne Phipps

Fortunately for me, the lock on the outside of the laundry room door is high enough that my two little granddaughters can't yet reach it, because if they could lock it, I couldn't get out! They love nothing better than to run and shut the … Read more

Doing Or Being StillPodcast

Friday, February 12, 2021 Rod Marshall

The last year has been a productive time for me. I have managed to fulfil many of the tick boxes mentally listed, partly because I have had the family at home to embolden me to keep going, just knowing that they are around to call if I … Read more

The Waiting RoomPodcast

Thursday, February 11, 2021 Shirley Moulton

Sometimes, I feel that much of my life has been spent in a waiting room. In my overseas travels, a great deal of time is spent waiting in airport lounges, in lineups, sitting on planes as they idle on the tarmac, and resting during the … Read more

What Am I?Podcast

Wednesday, February 10, 2021 Vincent Walter

One thing that is obvious to me and others is that, as I age, both my body and mind (which Paul describes as my "outer self") are deteriorating. Some years ago, my son hosted a party to celebrate my 80th birthday. One of the guests, a … Read more

Need A Stretch?Podcast

Tuesday, February 9, 2021 MaryLou Tompkins

Ouch! After once again trying to wear my new — but too tight — pair of slippers, I retreated to my comfortable, well-worn ones, thankful for the bit of support that they still had. As I pondered the new, rarely worn, rather tight, … Read more

Restricted UsePodcast

Monday, February 8, 2021 Martin Wiles

If I didn't pay, I couldn't talk. As my wife and I sat on the front porch of the hundred-year-old home that we rented, we often heard it ring — a pay phone situated next to an old country store across the road. Each night around the … Read more

Worldwide Ministry

Pray
Monday, September 7, 2026 – In Angola — Please pray for our rural church people who are struggling with poverty. For job opportunities for them. So many families struggle to even have enough food. We give thanks for the abundant rain for crops, as one man said, "rain gives life"! With the rains come many cases of malaria and now some of the mud brick houses are collapsing as foundations are not well built. Pray that their faith will hold strong.
