To Give AwayPodcast

Monday, April 25, 2016 Marilyn LaPierre

To give something away signifies generosity, or at least that is what we assume. Is it always true? Once, I heard it said, "Don't give away more than you can afford to lose." I pondered this, for it did not make sense. Later, I was … Read more

Good In Every WayPodcast

Sunday, April 24, 2016 Martin Wiles

I grew up in a family where dad regularly berated things that he felt threatened his Christian lifestyle. Theatres were places where curse words were said or sexual scenes displayed. They must be avoided. Not until much later in life did … Read more

Strange SignsPodcast

Saturday, April 23, 2016 JJ Ollerenshaw

In the past few years, people all over the world have heard mysterious noises: a groaning, scraping, rumbling noise, or that of a long trumpet blast — not the modern trumpet that we're familiar with today, but like a ram's horn, or … Read more

Attitude AdjustmentPodcast

Friday, April 22, 2016 Steve Boose

I have an interesting application on my cell phone that tracks my driving habits. It's for my insurance company, which sold me on it by saying that it could save me "up to 25 percent" on my vehicle insurance, which would be really neat! As … Read more

We've all heard the old "saw" that there is incredible power in setting goals. Paul, the quintessential missionary and apostle, shared a few goals that he had most of his converted life. Can you think where his insightful goal statement … Read more

I Surrender AllPodcast

Sunday, April 17, 2016 Iris Ford

A song written in 1896 still drives me to tears. "I surrender all" by Judson W. VanDeVenter is a tearjerker. Do you know it? Our choir sang it this Easter, and I had to control my tears in order to sing. Mark 10:28 puts it this way: "Lo, … Read more

Worldwide Ministry

Pray
Monday, September 7, 2026 – In Angola — Please pray for our rural church people who are struggling with poverty. For job opportunities for them. So many families struggle to even have enough food. We give thanks for the abundant rain for crops, as one man said, "rain gives life"! With the rains come many cases of malaria and now some of the mud brick houses are collapsing as foundations are not well built. Pray that their faith will hold strong.
