Honest EmotionsPodcast

Friday, August 3, 2007 Ivie Bozeman

The apostle Paul is one of my favourite Bible characters. I often wonder how he would be accepted in today's world. We like people with a Christian mask: a smile and uplifting words that make us feel good. We expect … Read more

AcediaPodcast

Sunday, July 29, 2007 John Stuart

I came across a new word the other day: acedia. It means "spiritual languor". I guess it's like belief burnout or compassion fatigue. It's when we lose our connection to God, His church, or His people, and we end up … Read more

Highlight Of My WeekPodcast

Saturday, July 28, 2007 Elaine Ingalls Hogg

To some, seeing a little boy waving wouldn't add up to being listed as the highlight of your week. But to me it was. "I saw you," he said, as I drew closer to where the nine-year-old was standing in … Read more

Worldwide Ministry

Pray
Monday, September 7, 2026 – In Angola — Please pray for our rural church people who are struggling with poverty. For job opportunities for them. So many families struggle to even have enough food. We give thanks for the abundant rain for crops, as one man said, "rain gives life"! With the rains come many cases of malaria and now some of the mud brick houses are collapsing as foundations are not well built. Pray that their faith will hold strong.
