In East Asia — Pray for more partners who become trainers in our house church planting network in East Asia. We are asking God for around ten of these trainers for each district in our region. May the Lord grant them courage in their next step of faith.

April 17, 2024: Please pray that our upcoming travel will be okay. A few problems have arisen with paperwork and this has become quite stressful. Pray that we are able to trust the Lord to work it out. Thank you.

Update April 15, 2024; Please keep praying for P to find new accommodations.**March 22, 2024: P is looking farther afield now which is a good idea.** March 6, 2024: P is looking desperately for a place to live**February 3, 2024: P is now on a disability pension and taking medications for her health problems.

Update April 14, 2024; Please pray extra fervently for tomorrow when she and her son will be going to court. The boy's father plans to fight for full custody which we believe would be disastrous.**April 10, 2024: Please pray for new accommodations for T and her young son A. Their rental apartment is moldy and affecting their health. T. is the young woman we prayed for previously who suffers from anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder but it much improved by now. Thank you.

Update April 14, 2024; We heard from her on April 4 and we keep praying.**March 25, 2024; She has seen a doctor today and he has ordered a myriad of tests.**March 24, 2024: Today we finally had a phone call. She is exhausted and not feeling well.** March 10, 2024: Please pray for our daughter in the US who is working in the political sphere. Pray for safety and relief from stress.

Update April 14, 2024: We haven't heard how Lynn is doing . Please keep praying.**March 22, 2024: Lynn is in much pain most of the time.** February 29, 2024 Lynn has had the tumor removed; the chemo wasn't working. She has now been discharged home. We must keep praying. **February 3,2024: Leigh asks that prayers be given for her siblings: Lynn has colon cancer, surgery, and now a new tumor; she is having chemo. Stephen has colon cancer and recent surgery. David is very ill and has so far been undiagnosed; possibly ALS. And please pray for Leigh. Thank you.

Update April 10, 2024: Praise the Lord. Bill has had his surgery, which went well and he will not need a second surgery.**March 27, 2024: Bill has a bit of a sore throat but feels quite well.**March 4, 2024: Please pray for Bill who has been diagnosed with cancer of the larynx. The oncologist said it was caught early enough and with a course of radiation he should recover.

Update April 4, 2024...this family appreciate all prayers. There has been some change and it seems possible to be in their current spot until April 30. There are 3 potential rental locations pending. Update February 22, 2024 The need for housing remains but there have been encouraging signs in the past week to help this couple focus their search in a different community where they lived some years ago. Thank you for ongoing prayers.** February 2, 2024: Please join in prayer for a couple suddenly in need of rental housing, with ongoing serious health problems for each person, both on disability funding. They grieve the January death of a parent. The house where they live with subsidized rent has just been sold, with an early April date for them to leave. No affordable options seem likely within the surrounding counties. Please pray for their encouragement and their needs to be met emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially.

Update April 2, 2024: She stayed much longer than expected and was released yesterday. She sounded bright and happy when I talked to her but we know that she is still fragile and needs our continuing support and prayers. I pray that God will continue to surround her with His loving presence and give her courage and support she needs to move past this dark place with strength, faith and confidence. Thank you Lord Jesus for watching over her and please continue to hold her and our family close in your loving hands.** March 23, 2024: Please pray for my 13 year old granddaughter who is experiencing suicidal thoughts. Her Mom and Dad took her to the hospital and it looks like she will be admitted for a 48 hour inpatient evaluation. Please God, help her out of this dark place and lead her and her parents to health care professionals who are caring and compassionate and can walk with them through this crisis.
