Update March 29, 2024: Praise: Dave has not had any more major coughing issues. Most days he is still alert. Ministry: To date all requests had been placed in the different English classes. 5 possible female conversation partners are available to take on a new international. 2 new Chinese students (my class) want to join H's Bible study on campus. Prayer: E (Monday English teacher)- Had an accident causing cuts and fractures. Recovery is needed. We need more male conversation partners- 3 are on a waiting list (from Colombia, Iran and China). My next English lesson is about Easter- its significance for believers as well as the eggs, bunnies, etc. Our son Jonathan is looking for work (another position in a warehouse). I am looking forward to having Rachel home for a few days around Easter. She has been working at the Y daycare, and is able to travel by train on Thursday and Monday. Thank you for your prayers. March 11, 2024: Prayer partners, please lift in prayer my niece B. who is battling cancer in her private area. God is able to bring her through this battle totally free from cancer of any form for the rest of her natural life. In Heaven we will never face another battle. Glory to our Heavenly Father, his Son Jesus our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit who teaches us and is with us all of the time. Amen

March 10, 2024: Please join me in praying for my friend S who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Also for my friend’s son D who has had surgery to remove cancer. My prayer is that God would touch the lives of these two people with his healing hand and they would feel his presence as He walks with them and their families in this frightening time.

Update March 1, 2024:Things are so much worse than I thought. I just found out that not only does she not love my son now but has been cheating on him. My heart is breaking for him. Please pray for God to save my only son. Amen.

February 24, 2024: I was recently sent this request, and pass it on to you: "I would ask for your prayers for Ekaterina who suffered a stroke. We ask for healing of her left hand. God we know that you know what is best for Ekaterina and we surrender her to you in the knowledge that you will take what we have seen as bad and make good out of it. Scriptures tells us that you, God, can and will do that and we will believe that it can happen. God we thank you for this person and we ask for a pouring of your love over her at this very moment."

I am posting a prayer for Ben, a teenager who has Down Syndrome and has been diagnosed with a recurrence of his leukemia. He begins chemotherapy next week and will remain in Princess Margaret Hospital for the duration. Ben’s mom, Anne, is a remarkable woman; she exhibits such great faith, personal courage and hope. She and Ben have family and friends surrounding them, but would be grateful for your prayers. I am grateful too; thank you.

Upate February 24, 2024: My son-in-law's father's surgery went well. The Cancer Markers in my blood are coming down. Please keep praying ** February 9, 2024: My brother-in-law is deceased with Cancer, My son-in-law is now in remission after 2 years with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I have had Ovarian Cancer and now Cancer Markers in my Blood for a 1 1/2 years,. A member of my son- in-law's family has Brain Cancer and not expected to live much longer, Plus now his father has to have triple Heart By-pass surgery next week. Please pray for all of us. Help us Dear Lord. Amen.

Update February 23, 2024: Audrey passed away on the 20th. Please keep her family in your prayers.**February 19, 2024: My friend Audrey is 98 and lives in Parkview Home. When Marg and I visited her last month, she did not know who we were. She has stopped eating and is unaware or unconscious most of the time. Some of her meds have been stopped, but she is receiving pain medication. She is expected to live less than a week. Please pray for Audrey and for Debbie (daughter-in-law) and the rest of the family during this challenging time.
