2 Samuel 22:47 – The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, the Rock of my salvation! (NKJV)
This morning, I was driving through badly needed rain to have my vehicle serviced. As I looked to my left, I saw a break in the rain. The sun was shining brightly on a point of land. The contrast of the red shore, the blue water, the yellow sunlight, and the verdant vegetation made my soul cry out, "My God lives!" I could see the handiwork of His creation majestically displayed right over there!
That's the easy part: seeing God externally. But how about internally? Oh, that's more difficult! How do I see God working through me for others? How much of my life do I allow God to enter? How and where do I see God in my life? Is He infused into my very being — into all my daily thoughts and activities — or is He relegated to the corner of a dusty shelf of my life?
Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (NKJV)
My faith journey is far from perfect — yes, sometimes, unfortunately, I put God on a dusty shelf corner. Then, I find myself wondering, "Why can't I feel the Lord's presence today? Why am I restless?"
If we have someone whom we call a friend, yet they do not find time to call or visit us, are they really our friend? Similarly, in our relationship with our Father, if we don't take regular time to be with Him, is He a priority? What does this say about our desire to deepen our relationship with Him as His loving children?
I know that my days unroll better when I make time for my devotions first thing in the morning. This being the case, why do I allow interruptions to steal this time away from my conversations with God?
I know for a fact that I certainly need this time with Him. I need His anchoring in my life. How about you? Join me in this prayer.
Prayer: Dear Father, in the daily merry-go-round of life, help me to step off the ride each day, to take time to praise You, to meditate on Your holy Word, and to seek instruction on Your plans for me. You built the entire world in six days, and You are never too busy to hear my humble prayers. Help me to freely access the gifts that You have for me — the gifts of Your time and Your holy guidance. Amen.

Wednesday, May 31, 2023 – In Pontianak, West Ka;imantan, Indonesoa — Pray for "Inre and Irkas", who are heavily involved in ministering in a very sensitive ministry contexr among a group who have no idea who the true Saviour is.. These people work in the slums, where they go through the garbage dump and collect whatever can be re-used or sold. "I and I' teach special school to children with no legal status or papers, as well as teaching health and various skills to the families.
Son and family: "May 30, 2023. I ask for prayers that God will help my son and family. They are fighting in front of..." 
A Difficult Situation update: "Update May 29, 2023. Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue to pray for both S, and J."

Thank you for reminding me of the importance of spending time with our Father. I always read the devotions in the am but sometimes in a rush. I can drink in the beauty of PEI in my mind and also soak in his Presence. Thank you and blessings.

Romans chapter three “just happened” to be my reading for today. Right. Like anything “just happens.” I’m always amazed how our loving God repeats the concepts He wants us to take to heart. Verse 23 proclaims, “For all have sinned . . .” and thus we all need a Saviour, and we have one in our dear Lord, Jesus Christ. Praising God for the reminder on this glorious morning. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

How true is your devotional today as it related to my life.
I spend 2-3 hours in front of the television everyday but I only spend 15 minutes a day with my creator maybe 3 times a week. This needs to change.

A VERY interesting devotional! Is God My Priority?
The opening statements using what you could see in the difference of the glum in the rain and to the shine of the sun’s reflection. In the gloom of rain comes growth and the shine of the sun brings us the light in which for us to see. So say I — and life flows day after day, some not so
good, some are great. In this we grow (not all at once) but gradually as we confess to God that we need Him in all our circumstances. It’s called learning how to see through all the things you mentioned in your writing, that God reaches out to us and draws us together in His timing. Keep
searching He is waiting for us all– day by day. God Bless.

Good Morning Orlanda:
Life is a merry-go-round and often we become so consumed with the things of this world, even as Christians, we find ourselves placing God last on our list of “things I pray to do today.” The door bell or the phone rings and our devotional is placed aside and off we go our merry way.
You have given us things to think about.
In praising His handiwork you have displayed to us the beauty we behold because of His love for us in creating such a vast awesome universe. A precious gift we often take for granted and forget to say thank you for.
You have also made us aware of the fact that “All have sinned” and keeping in touch with our Master and making Him a priority in our lives is so very important in that fellowship and contact with Him, through The Word makes us to grow to be more like Him in conduct, spirit and witness.
His anchoring is indeed what keeps we, who are not so very faithful, going. He is always there to hear our cry of forgiveness for neglecting Him and is ready to “dust us off” , wipe our sheets clean and KNOW He is still our Heavenly father and still loves us more than we even love ourselves, making US His priority always.
