How Does He Do That?

I know that you are just as busy as I am. Do you ever not get to your prayer time or your time to be with the Lord daily? Although I know that if I start my day with my God, the day will go more smoothly, somehow my prayer time gets missed when I'm in a rush. One day can become three or more days before I get down to read the PCCWeb Daily, or other daily Scripture readings that I study. And then it happens again: the thing that I need God to answer or reprove or explain is right there in front of me, but it was written for me to read three days before! But I didn't need it three days before — I needed it today! How does He DO that?

Ecclesiastes 3:1,10,11a – To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: I have seen the painful labour and exertion and miserable business which God has given to the sons of men with which to exercise and busy themselves. He has made everything beautiful in its time. (AMP)

It always amazes me that God is so personal, so omnipotent, and so loving that He knows exactly when I will need help, even before the writer has written the words, even before the prayer was published. He directs me to it when I need it. And we think we run our lives! Isn't it amazing? God is so good!

Prayer: Thank You, God, for Your love, for Your care, and for really knowing us. Our time is in Your hands, and we thank You for it. Amen.
