Listen to this devotional:
Listen while you read: "Holy Spirit Truth Divine"1 (Lyrics)

John 14:25-26 – I have told you these things while I am still with you. But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. (AMP)

How constantly happy I am to be saved to this abundant life, to eternal life, and by God's grace to live as God's child in this new covenant dispensation.

Ephesians 2:4-5 – But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved. (NRSV)

In this new covenant of God's grace, loving Father God saved me by drawing me to believe and receive Jesus Christ as my Saviour, to dwell in me, bringing with Him His resurrection spiritual life, to enable me to die to sin and live in His given righteousness.

Yes, I'm in a permanent state of awe, joy, and celebration, that Jesus in me, loves me to death — the death of my carnal, sinful human nature — and He loves me into His resurrection and spiritual life.

Romans 8:10-11 – And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (NKJV)

Isn't this energy-releasing, freeing, happy revelation knowledge to live in? It enables us to sing with grateful hearts:

I am covered over with the robe of righteousness that Jesus gives to me.
I am covered over with the precious blood of Jesus, and He lives in me.
Oh what a joy it is to know my heavenly Father loves me so, He gives to me, my Jesus.
And when He looks at me, He sees not what I used to be, but He sees Jesus.

Isaiah 61:10a – I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness. (NKJV)

Ah yes, believers can celebrate their eternal salvation, the righteous, abundant, spiritual life within, through the glorious Pentecost — the promised infilling of the Holy Spirit sent by God because Jesus ascended to where believers could not be with Him, but were told to wait for the Holy Spirit who would come to dwell within them.

But the Holy Spirit is omnipresent, dwells everywhere, and believers can receive Him and His precious teachings right where we live. Through the Holy Spirit, our Christ keeps His promises, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20 KJV), and "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV), but He could not keep His promises to all believers if He had remained in the flesh.

It is through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that believers can, if they desire, live and enjoy an on-growing spiritual life, as well as continually celebrating and enjoying our Saviour's gloriously refreshing, resurrection, life-changing presence. All glory to His name!

Prayer: With a grateful heart, we thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your revelation truths, ever given to us by Your Word and Your Spirit. Thank You for our permanently refreshing new covenant life, and the ever-comforting, indwelling Holy Spirit You have given to us as helper, advocate, and leader into all truth, that we may live a God-gifted spiritual life. Amen and Amen!
