Listen while you read: "All Glory Laud And Honour"1 (Lyrics)

John 14:2-4 – There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so. And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am. (GNB)

Once again, many are preparing for their summer holidays. We are so fortunate in this area, being only a few days' travel from many destinations. We could travel to the east, and visit the mysterious forces of the Atlantic Ocean. We could travel west across the prairies and badlands, and visit magnificent mountains. We could venture north and vacation in areas where few humans travel. We could visit the south and enjoy warmth, tourist attractions, and unique water miracles. We could also remain in our own area and explore beaches, forest, farmlands, and Great Lakes. God's earth is filled with wonders to discover, and it is difficult to decide which to see.

Our travel with God is also filled with uncertainties. We don't know where our journey will lead us. We don't know what we will learn, or what we will teach along the way. We don't know the trials we will have to face. But, by following Christ, we will be sure of our final destination.

Prayer: Gracious God, You sent Your Son to lead us. He has shown us the way, Your way. Help us to follow Him, who is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.
