Silence

Psalm 115:17 – The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence. (NASB)

      Silence

So loud it shatters the quietness surrounding me
I can feel my heart beating in my throat
    I can hear him breathing
    Unspoken words
    Silence

    Unforgiveness sits on the throne
A silent tear slowly trickles down my cheek
I wonder what he is thinking right now or
    if he is sleeping….unaware
    Is he hurting too?
    Silence

Ecclesiastes 3:7 – A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; a time to be silent, and a time to speak.

Prayer: Father in heaven, without You there is silence and death. Help us to remember that You are with us in our hurting, in our trials and in our self-made silences. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Amen.
