How Big A God Do You Believe In?

Psalm 8:3-6 – When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:

It is reported that the famed astronomer, Russell Norris, was presenting a lecture concerning the Milky Way. He dramatically conveyed the tremendous size of the Milky Way. During the question and answer period a lady asked, "If our world is so little, and the universe is so big, can we believe God pays attention to an individual?"

Dr. Norris replied, "My dear lady, this all depends upon how big a God you believe in." How true this is. The belief Jesus desires is the one which believes God is big enough to care for every detail of your life.

Today is the day to begin to believe as never before that the Lord is interested in every facets of your being. There is no area of your life so insignificant that He is not concerned. He is not only concerned, but He is desirous of being a part of every area of your life.

May you believe that He is with you. I pray that you may believe in a big God today. A big God is One who is interested in little things. Nothing in your life is too small for Him."

Prayer: Father, may I never forget that You are a big God. A really big God. Amen.
