Psalm 53:1 – The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
Probably everyone at one time or another has wondered about the existence of God. You have no doubt had those moments when you have thought that you needed tangible proof of the existence of God.
Although these thoughts may cross the mind, the truth is, we must believe the Lord exists and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all life.
Hudson Taylor was once asked, "What proof do you have that there is a God?" I feel his answer is worthy of our consideration. "Only little things can be proved. Great things do not need it. They prove themselves."
The Bible does not have a passage seeking to prove the existence of God. It assumes this and is written from this viewpoint. Your life and mine should not be lived trying to prove the existence of God. It should be lived believing God.
The Lord is not Someone who merely exists. He is Someone who is constantly at work in our midst. You can believe this moment that He is with you. He is and will continue to be.
Prayer: Thank you Father, that You are the everlasting God and also that You are concerned about me and my problems. Amen.
