Romans 14:7 – We do not live to ourselves, and we do not die to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.

Dear brother and friend Andis:

Greetings from Canada!

Cold as it is outside I hear even colder reports from your country and what is happening there at this time, especially in the south. Many here in Canada are praying for peace and are hopeful that the conflicts around you will not get worse. Your country has suffered so very much. I hope a time of healing will come.

I wanted to thank you for your sharing in Bible Study both with me and the others in our group. Many of your stories I have committed to memory and I love to share them with my people. You have been a marvellous witness for Christ in the years of communism and I pray now in the days of conflict you will be blessed of God once again. God bless you and all that you do in the name of our gracious Lord.

Your brother in Christ

Ken

Prayer: Lord, bless our sisters and brothers around the world who live in difficult days and in dire circumstances. Let us never forget how blessed we are and how desperate is the need for prayer. We hold in prayer this young man Andis and all the people of Albania in their need. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
